THE SOFT rebellion

THE SOFT rebellion

The rhetoric of the century is that women are dressing “too masculine.”  As if opting for function over frill is something new. But if you live in the real world, you know this isn’t a trend. It’s evolution.  It’s not about dressing “like a man.” It’s about dressing like someone who has a million and one things to do, because women today are not JUST women. They’re managing households, running businesses, traveling the world, building legacies, raising families, all while applying their lipgloss. They don’t need to LOOK busy. They ARE busy.  women of today aren’t just showing up,  they're showing out…EVERYWHERE! So when today’s woman opts for what makes sense to her,  it’s not rebellion against femininity... it’s reality.

Fashion has been shaped by unrealistic expectations that rarely consider the complexity of the women wearing it.  For far too long, women have been told how to show up in society.  How to sit, how to smile, how to dress, how to speak, how to soften.

Each DIMILOC collection is birthed from that knowing.  It’s a dialogue between what society expects of women and what women actually want and need. Honoring the tension between delicacy and durability, between grace and grit, each piece is intentional and it IS feminine with care in every stitch and purpose in every seam.

Thoughtfully designed not just for how it looks, but for how it moves, how it empowers, for its versatility and how well it fits into the complex lives of today’s woman.  DIMILOC is a celebration of women dressing for a lifestyle rooted in reality, not one where all of the pockets are non-existent or sewn shut for “aesthetics”.

Women aren't dressing too masculine, they are wearing what fits their lifestyle.  No longer is there a need for permission nor approval when it comes to defining personal style.  Women are choosing comfort, versatility, utility and longevity over the short-lived thrill of frilly fast fashion and it’s a statement that cannot be ignored!

What do yo think?  Have women become too masculine or more practical?
